Time: 4:00PM - 5:00PM EDT

Energy storage, distributed resources and new technologies are creating significant value for all stakeholders in energy and utilities are quickly evolving to enable these new opportunities on the grid. Utilities are the literal backbone of our electric system, powering our economy and investing billions of dollars each year in maintaining and enhancing our energy infrastructure.

With hundreds of MW's of distributed resources being installed each year and rapid acceleration in deployment, utilities of all types are working to integrate these new assets to create a cleaner, more resilient grid.

Utilities are not only adapting their long-term planning strategies to technologies like energy storage, but they are also serving as partners with their customers in new and innovative ways to move bodly into the future of energy.

Developed in collaboration with the Edison Electric Institute, this utility executive panel convenes decision makers from Avista, Indianapolis Power & Light, and Duke Energy to discuss the impact of distributed resources on the utility business model and gives perspective on the future of the changing electric grid.
