Energy Storage 201: Energy Storage Valuation and Markets

Room: 207 AB
Date: Monday, April 25, 2016
Time: 3:30PM - 5:00PM EDT

Building on Energy Storage 101, this workshop provides a detailed perspective on the valuation of storage through wholesale markets and distribution-connected and behind-the-meter applications.

On the wholesale markets, the workshop provides insight into the key design features that drive energy, ancillary service and capacity market price formation, and how these have been implemented over time in the 7 organized US markets, which comprise about 80% of the national power system.  We will also look forward to pending wholesale market design changes.

On the other applications, the workshop will also engage participants in a review the market drivers and opportunities.   The workshop will be of interest both to new participants in the storage industry and experienced practitioners looking for a comprehensive update and additional strategic perspective.

This workshop is being develop by the expert team at Customized Energy Solutions and led by Mike Berlinski.

Please note that this event must be registered for separately and a separate fee will apply.
